The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has had a long list of memorable characters, and among them is Ayesha, who made her debut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

The character portrayed by Elizabeth Debicki:

The character, portrayed by Elizabeth Debicki, was the high priestess of the Sovereign people, a powerful race of beings who enlist the Guardians to help them defend their valuable batteries from an interdimensional monster. As Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently in development, fans are eagerly awaiting to see what's next for Ayesha in the MCU. But who is Ayesha in Marvel Comics, and what can we expect from her in the future?

Who is Ayesha:

In the comics, Ayesha is also known as Kismet or Her. She was created by the Enclave, a group of scientists who wanted to create the perfect being. Ayesha was created to be the female counterpart of Adam Warlock, another Marvel character who is also expected to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In her original comic book appearance, Ayesha is an artificial human who possesses incredible powers, including superhuman strength, speed, agility, and the ability to fly. She also has the ability to generate energy blasts and has a healing factor that allows her to recover quickly from injuries.

Ayesha is villain:

Ayesha is often depicted as a villain in the comics. She has clashed with the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy multiple times, often trying to achieve her own goals at the expense of others. However, she has also been depicted as an ally to the heroes on occasion. It remains to be seen how closely the MCU will follow Ayesha's comic book origins in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. However, it's clear that the character has a significant role to play in the upcoming film. It's been reported that the Sovereign people will return in the third installment, and Ayesha is likely to be leading them once again.

Ayesha could have a larger role in the MCU:

It's also possible that Ayesha could have a larger role in the MCU beyond Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. With the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion and the introduction of the cosmic side of the MCU in movies like Thor: Love and Thunder, there are plenty of opportunities for Ayesha to make appearances in other projects.

Conclusion:

Overall, Ayesha is an exciting character with a lot of potential in the MCU. Whether she remains a villain or becomes an ally to the heroes, there's no doubt that she will continue to be a compelling presence on screen. Fans will just have to wait until Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to see what the future holds for this powerful character.
