Stars Struggle Against Kraken.

The Dallas Stars suffered a tough loss to the Seattle Kraken in game 3 of their series, and it was a game that felt like a blast from the past.

The Stars came into the game with a 2-0 series lead, but they were unable to continue their winning ways in this one. They fell behind early in the game and were unable to mount a comeback, eventually losing by a final score of 3-1.

One of the reasons why this game felt like a throwback was because of the way the Kraken played. They relied heavily on their defense and goaltending, just like the Stars teams of old. Their netminder, Chris Driedger, was outstanding in this game, stopping 37 of the 38 shots he faced.

On the other side of the ice, the Stars struggled to get much going offensively. They were able to generate a lot of shots, but they weren't able to make much of them. Their lone goal came off the stick of Joe Pavelski, who has been a bright spot for the team throughout the playoffs.

One of the most frustrating things for the Stars was their inability to convert on their power play opportunities. They had five power plays in the game, but they weren't able to score on any of them. This has been a recurring issue for the team throughout the playoffs, and it's something they'll need to address if they want to advance further.

Despite the loss, there were some positives for the Stars to take away from this game. Their defense played well for the most part, and their penalty kill was strong. Anton Khudobin was solid in net, making 21 saves on 24 shots.

The Stars will need to regroup quickly, as they'll face the Kraken again in game 4. They'll need to find a way to solve Driedger and the Kraken defense if they want to avoid falling into a 3-1 series hole.

Overall, this game was a reminder of the Stars teams of old, who were known for their strong defense and goaltending. While it wasn't the result they were looking for, the Stars can take some solace in the fact that they played a hard-fought game and will have another chance to even the series in the next game.
